It folds light and flat in your carry-on, resists pilling, keeps its shape and goes straight in the washing machine. It's made from our fine 100% polyester microfabric: everyday softness without the weight or the fuss.

The Cool-jams DayBasics Pleated Front Short Sleeve Nightie is the lighter cut in our nightgown range: a small cap of sleeve for shoulder coverage, a pleated front that skims the body, and an above-the-knee hem. It is one of the most comfortable nightgowns we make for warm evenings, and the pleat means it drapes rather than clings instead of sitting against the body. Made from soft, lightweight DayBasics fabric, gentle against the skin and simple to care for. Ten colors, in sizes S to 3X.

What is a nightie compared to a nightgown?

In our range a nightie is the shorter, lighter cut and a nightgown runs longer. Both pull on over the head and are worn on their own.

How long is it?

It is cut to an above-the-knee length. Our sleeveless and long tank gowns give more coverage in the same fabric.

Are short sleeves better than sleeveless?

It is personal. Short sleeves stop straps sitting on the shoulder and give a little arm coverage, while sleeveless is lighter.
