Cool-jams NightCool Performance Moisture Wicking Fabric

Cooling pajamas engineered for real sleep

Most sleepwear traps heat and moisture. The Cool-jams NightCool collection is built with Kottinu, a technical synthetic (engineered polyester microfiber) made for firefighter base layers and medical scrubs, now crafted for hot sleepers and night sweats needing moisture-wicking and cooling pajamas. It pulls sweat off your skin and dries in minutes, so you stay dry and comfortable all night long.

  • Up to 6x longer lasting than cotton sleepwear
  • 50 washes retaining color and sharpness
  • 99.9% antimicrobial protection
  • Minutes to dry after you sweat, not hours

No sweat. No odor. No pilling.

Night sweats, odor, and worn-out sleepwear are the three biggest complaints in the category. Kottinu was engineered to solve all three at once, in one fabric, with no trade-offs. Here is exactly how.

Moisture wicking icon

No Sweat

Microfibers use a proprietary Moisture Transference System (MST) that actively pulls moisture away from skin and moves it to the fabric's outer surface, where it evaporates quickly. You feel dry even when you are warm.

Antibacterial icon

No Odor

Every NightCool garment is treated with Bact-Out®, a 100% natural antimicrobial finish. Third-party ISO laboratory testing confirms it eliminates 99.9% of odor-causing bacteria and remains fully effective after 50 washes.

Soft fabric icon

No Pilling

A unique microfiber formulation causes distressed surface hairs to cleanly break away, allowing fresh fibers to emerge in their place. This self-renewing process means your cooling pajamas keep looking new, wash after wash, year after year.

Moisture wicking

Moving liquid sweat off the skin and along the fiber, measured as how far the liquid travels through the fabric.

Breathability

How freely air passes through the knit itself. A fabric that will not pass air cannot carry heat away from you, however well it handles liquid.

Vapor transfer

Letting evaporated sweat escape through the garment as gas, so the fabric dries on you rather than holding the damp against your skin.

Breathability is built, not blended. It comes from how the fabric is knit, not from what the fiber is called.

Why Kottinu lasts up to 6 times longer than cotton

Kottinu is engineered to last up to 6 times longer than cotton sleepwear. That durability is not a coating or a finish that washes out. It comes from the fiber itself, and it is the direct result of building sleepwear from a technical performance fabric instead of a natural one.

  • Higher tensile strength. Kottinu is a continuous engineered filament. Natural fibers like cotton are short staple lengths spun together, so they shed, thin and weaken with every wash and wear cycle.
  • Anti-pilling by design. Knit cotton and knit bamboo pill as loose surface fibers tangle into bobbles. Kottinu's microfiber structure lets distressed surface hairs break away cleanly, so the fabric keeps its smooth hand.
  • It keeps its strength when wet. Viscose and viscose from bamboo lose a significant share of their strength when wet, which is precisely when sleepwear is under the most stress: night sweats, and the wash cycle itself. Kottinu does not weaken this way.
  • It holds its shape and color. Because the fiber resists abrasion and stretching, necklines, hems and prints stay sharp instead of sagging and fading after a season.

The science of NightCool

The fabric, cut open

Skin below, knit above, open air at the top. NightCool draws sweat up through the channels between the filaments and releases it where air can take it. Cotton has no channels to offer, so the same sweat sinks in and sits against you.

Every night, all the benefits

Temperature control icon

Stays cool all night

The MST system in Kottinu microfibers actively moves heat and moisture away from your skin surface, creating a continuous cooling effect that helps regulate body temperature without any cooling inserts, gels, or special technology beyond the fabric itself.

Soft fabric icon

Cotton-like feel, performance behavior

Many moisture wicking fabrics feel stiff or synthetic against bare skin. Kottinu was engineered specifically to feel like premium cotton, soft, breathable and natural, while performing like a high-tech fiber.

Airflow icon

Full, unrestricted airflow

Unlike tight weaves that trap air, our fabric architecture allows continuous air circulation across your skin. Sleeping warm does not have to mean sleeping stuffy, so your body can thermoregulate naturally through the night.

Naturally derived icon

Naturally antimicrobial

Bact-Out® is derived from 100% natural sources. Unlike silver-ion or chemical antimicrobials, it does not wash out or degrade over time. Laboratory tests confirm full effectiveness after 50 wash cycles.

Quick dry icon

Dries in minutes, not hours

When a night sweat hits, the fabric moves that moisture out to the surface where it evaporates fast. You are not lying in damp sleepwear waiting for it to dry, which is what turns one hot flash into an hour of lost sleep.

Lasting color icon

Color-sharp through 50 washes

Our fabric retains its color depth and print sharpness through at least 50 wash cycles, far beyond typical sleepwear. Wash in warm water, tumble dry low, and your NightCool pieces keep looking freshly bought.

Common questions about cooling pajamas

What makes cooling pajamas different from regular sleepwear?

Standard sleepwear, especially cotton, absorbs moisture and holds it against your skin, which makes you feel damp and warm. True cooling pajamas use moisture wicking fabrics like Kottinu that actively pull sweat away from the skin and move it to the fabric's outer surface to evaporate, keeping you genuinely dry rather than just absorbing the problem.

Does Kottinu really last longer than cotton?

Yes. Kottinu is engineered to last up to 6 times longer than cotton sleepwear. As a technical synthetic it has higher tensile strength than natural staple fibres like cotton and it resists pilling by design, so it keeps its smooth feel, shape and colour through far more wash and wear cycles. It also holds its strength when wet, unlike viscose and viscose from bamboo.
