More about the Tulip Tank Top

The Cool-jams NightCool Tulip Tank Top is a cooling tank top for women who sleep hot, finished with an overlapping tulip hem that falls softly over the hip rather than cutting straight across it. It is sleeveless with a scoop neckline, so there is very little fabric holding heat, and the Kottinu knit wicks sweat and dries fast. An odor-control finish helps the fabric stay fresher between washes. Wear it to sleep or to lounge, in Violet, Navy and Island, in sizes S to 3X.

Is a tank top enough on a hot night?

For most hot sleepers it is the coolest top we make, because it leaves the arms and shoulders bare and uses the least fabric.

Does the hem cover the waistband?

The tulip hem falls over the top of the hip and covers the waistband of matching NightCool bottoms.

Can I wear it out of the house?

Yes, the tulip hem and scoop neck read as a regular tank, so it works for lounging as well as sleep.

What is Kottinu?

Kottinu, a technical synthetic (engineered polyester microfiber) made for firefighter base layers and medical scrubs, now crafted for hot sleepers and night sweats needing moisture-wicking and cooling pajamas. Soft and smooth with a cotton-like feel, it pulls sweat off your skin, dries fast, carrying body heat away with it.

A Bact-Out finish helps the fabric resist odor, so it stays fresher between washes. Kottinu resists pilling, holds its shape, and machine washes easily.

How to care for Kottinu

Machine wash cold or warm with like colors, gentle cycle
Skip fabric softener and dryer sheets, they coat the microfibers and can reduce wicking
Tumble dry low or hang to dry, Kottinu dries fast

Very cool and comfortable
The quality of the material is very good and comfortable. I like the way the purple and lilac color look and matches with what I saw online. The sleepwear top and pant does work well cooling me when I’m sleeping. Overall I am happy with my purchases and I hope this sleep wear holds up well over time.
