The Cool-jams Women's BambooSoft Gathered Tank Nightgown is a sleeveless, knee-length bamboo nightgown made from BambooSoft, our 95% viscose from bamboo and 5% spandex blend. Cool to the touch and temperature regulating, it breathes as you warm up and absorbs perspiration instead of leaving it against your skin, with a softly gathered front that skims instead of clinging.

What is BambooSoft fabric?

BambooSoft is our viscose from bamboo blend, 95% viscose from bamboo with 5% spandex: silky soft, breathable, absorbent and cool to the touch. It is temperature regulating, breathing as you warm and absorbing perspiration rather than leaving it against your skin, so you stay comfortable as the night changes around you. You will often see fabrics like this sold simply as bamboo. The accurate fiber name is viscose from bamboo, and that is what we call it.

Most bamboo brands ask one fabric to do everything. We do not. BambooSoft is built for softness and warm-weather comfort. If you wake up drenched, our NightCool line with Kottinu moisture-wicking fabric was engineered for exactly that.

How to care for BambooSoft

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent
No bleach and no fabric softener
Hang to dry, or tumble dry on the lowest heat
Viscose is more delicate when wet, so handle gently and do not wring
Wash with like colors to keep the color rich

The Classic is the only one worthwhile!
I love the Classic Cool Jams. I have worn them for decades. Feels like silk wears like iron.
I recently ordered the less-expensive newer offerings of the same item and the fabric was not anywhere as comfortable and the cut was just ever-so-smaller everywhere.
So happy these are back and I bought a few of them.

What a weird fit
Such odd fitting for this nightgown. Nice fabric but awful cut around the arms, like it is uncomfortable. Unfortunately I had already washed it or would have returned it, especially for the price.

Soft as silk, wears like iron
I’ve been wearing these gowns for 15 years. So comfortable and wears like iron. Keeps me comfy without ever feeling hot. Great for travel too because they take up no space.
