What is Kottinu?

Kottinu, a technical synthetic (engineered polyester microfiber) made for firefighter base layers and medical scrubs, now crafted for hot sleepers and night sweats needing moisture-wicking and cooling pajamas. Soft and smooth with a cotton-like feel, it pulls sweat off your skin, dries fast, carrying body heat away with it.

A Bact-Out finish helps the fabric resist odor, so it stays fresher between washes. Kottinu resists pilling, holds its shape, and machine washes easily.

A pleated front and no sleeves, so it flatters and still lets the air through.

The Cool-jams NightCool Pleated Front Sleeveless Nightgown puts the least possible fabric between you and the room: no sleeves, an open neckline, and a soft pleated front that falls away from the body rather than clinging to it. The Kottinu knit wicks sweat and dries fast, so a warm stretch in the night does not leave you damp, and an odor-control finish helps the fabric stay fresher between washes. Cut to an above-the-knee length, in Black, Navy and Merlot, in sizes S to 3X.

Is sleeveless the coolest option for summer nights?

It usually is, because there is less fabric in contact with your skin. Paired with a fast-drying knit like Kottinu it is one of the lightest things in the NightCool range.

What does the pleated front do?

The pleats give the fabric somewhere to go, so the gown drapes away from the stomach and hips instead of sitting against them.

What makes it suitable for hot flash nights?

    My first order was fine and I liked them. This order smelled like petroleum or something. I’ve washed them a few times and still a slight smell. I’m not sure I would chance another order.
