The Cool-jams DayBasics Pleated Tank Top has a soft pleat at the front that releases the fabric so it falls away from the stomach instead of sitting against it. Sleeveless with comfortable straps, it is one of the easiest tops to reach for on a warm evening, and it mixes with every DayBasics bottom in the same color range. Made from soft, lightweight DayBasics fabric, gentle against the skin and easy to wash and wear. Ten colors, in sizes S to 3X.

What does the pleat change?

It gives the fabric somewhere to go, so the top drapes rather than clings across the front.

Is it sleeveless?

Yes, it is a tank cut with no sleeve at all.

What bottoms match it?

Very cool and comfortable
The quality of the material is very good and comfortable. I like the way the purple and lilac color look and matches with what I saw online. The sleepwear top and pant does work well cooling me when I’m sleeping. Overall I am happy with my purchases and I hope this sleep wear holds up well over time.

Comfortable fabric, uncomfortable cut
If you are buying this, buy a size LARGER than you normally would. The arm cutouts are teeny tiny and appears to be cut/modified from another type of top? You can see where extra fabric was bunched up at the bottom of the arm holes.

Not what I expected
I practically live in my Cool-jams. I’ve been wearing them for years. I’m not sure what happened with this top. The cloth is definitely different from previous orders. It doesn’t wash or wear well at all. It’s as if it’s one big bunch of static electricity. I hope you all haven’t changed suppliers and this is a one off.
