More about the V-Neck Top

The Cool-jams NightCool V-Neck Top is a short sleeve cooling pajama top built around an open V neckline that leaves the throat and upper chest uncovered, which is what many women want on hot flash nights. The Kottinu knit wicks perspiration as it forms and dries fast, and an odor-control finish helps the fabric stay fresher between washes. The body is cut relaxed so it keeps fabric off the skin. Designed to mix with any NightCool bottom, in Black, Navy and Merlot, in sizes S to 3X.

Is a V-neck cooler than a crew neck?

It leaves more of the throat and upper chest uncovered, which is where many women notice a hot flash start, so most people find it feels cooler.

What bottoms go with this top?

Any NightCool bottom: pants, capris, joggers or shorts. The range is sold as separates so you can size each piece.

What is Kottinu?

Kottinu, a technical synthetic (engineered polyester microfiber) made for firefighter base layers and medical scrubs, now crafted for hot sleepers and night sweats needing moisture-wicking and cooling pajamas. Soft and smooth with a cotton-like feel, it pulls sweat off your skin, dries fast, carrying body heat away with it.

A Bact-Out finish helps the fabric resist odor, so it stays fresher between washes. Kottinu resists pilling, holds its shape, and machine washes easily.

How to care for Kottinu

Machine wash cold or warm with like colors, gentle cycle
Skip fabric softener and dryer sheets, they coat the microfibers and can reduce wicking
Tumble dry low or hang to dry, Kottinu dries fast

I found the XL to be a little tight--I would probably go up a size next time. The fabric is great, very soft and comfortable. And for a capri length, these go all the way down to my ankles, so a little long. However, they arrived within a week.

Love my Cool Jams Tops!
I've been wearing Cool Jams for years. They are my favorite and only pajamas. There are no pj's as breathable and comfortable as these anywhere else. These tops are perfect. I love the V neck. It's not too low on me, and the white lacy trim is pretty. The fit is perfect. I went extra large for extra room. (I wear large on the bottoms.) Love these and will be getting more when I can! (I got 2 tops.)
