More about the Pajama Pants

The Cool-jams NightCool Pants are full-length cooling pajama pants for hot sleepers who still want their legs covered. The Kottinu knit wicks sweat off the skin and dries in minutes, so full-length coverage does not turn into overheating, and an odor-control finish helps the fabric stay fresher between washes. You choose the waist when you order, elastic or drawstring. They are cut straight through the leg with enough room to move, and they pair with any NightCool top since the range is sold as separates. Five colors, in sizes S to 3X.

Can I choose the waistband?

Yes. This style is sold with a choice of elastic or drawstring waist, selected when you order.

Are full-length pajama pants too hot for night sweats?

Not when the fabric moves moisture. Kottinu is a performance sleep knit that wicks and dries fast, so these stay comfortable where cotton pants would stay damp.

What is Kottinu?

Kottinu, a technical synthetic (engineered polyester microfiber) made for firefighter base layers and medical scrubs, now crafted for hot sleepers and night sweats needing moisture-wicking and cooling pajamas. Soft and smooth with a cotton-like feel, it pulls sweat off your skin, dries in minutes, carrying body heat away with it.

A Bact-Out finish helps the fabric resist odor, so it stays fresher between washes. Kottinu resists pilling, holds its shape, and machine washes easily.

How to care for Kottinu

Machine wash cold or warm with like colors, gentle cycle
Skip fabric softener and dryer sheets, they coat the microfibers and can reduce wicking
Tumble dry low or hang to dry, Kottinu dries fast
No bleach
Holds its shape and resists pilling wash after wash

I love these pants!
I have several pairs of these pants in different colors. I wear them under a nightgown while relaxing in the evening during the colder weather. They are well made and not too long for my 5’4” frame.

The pajama bottoms are very comfy - and fit well. But the color - mocha brown - is terrible! More like the color of skin. I wish I had purchased navy.

Not cool
These pajamas were not effective as a moisture wicking agent while sleeping. In fact, I often awaken in the middle of the night and have to change my pj’s because the cool jams are clammy and wet.
