The Cool-jams NightCool Scoop Neck Nightshirt is a cooling nightshirt for women, cut to a below-the-knee length with a soft scoop neckline and short sleeves. It is made from Kottinu, our proprietary performance sleep fabric, which pulls perspiration off the skin as it forms and dries in minutes rather than hours. That is what makes it a nightshirt made for night sweats and hot flashes: the fabric moves moisture instead of holding it against you. An odor-control finish helps the fabric stay fresher between washes. Available in solid Black, Navy and Merlot plus embossed leaf and vine prints, in sizes S to 3X.

What is Kottinu?

Kottinu, a technical synthetic (engineered polyester microfiber) made for firefighter base layers and medical scrubs, now crafted for hot sleepers and night sweats needing moisture-wicking and cooling pajamas. Soft and smooth with a cotton-like feel, it pulls sweat off your skin, dries in minutes, carrying body heat away with it.

A Bact-Out finish helps the fabric resist odor, so it stays fresher between washes. Kottinu resists pilling, holds its shape, and machine washes easily.

  • Machine wash cold or warm with like colors, gentle cycle
  • Skip fabric softener and dryer sheets, they coat the microfibers and can reduce wicking

    Not the same fabric as my previous gowns

    I got my new nightgown, this is probably my third or fourth over the past few years. This time the gown fits perfectly, but the material is not the same.. After one washing, the material is no longer soft and smooth like my older gowns are. It feels a bit like the material is starting to pull up. One of the reasons I love your gowns is the feel of the material. It appears that you no longer have the same material for the gown that I purchased.

    Very comfy!

    This is my second purchase of Cool Jams, my first pair I wore til they were almost thread bare. I’ve had to retire them but replaced with two new ones so I could have new colors! I cannot tell you how long my first pair lasted, possibly 5-6 years? You will love them as much as I do!

    Lint Magnet

    I have been buying cool jams forever but this last one has some sort of material defect. It attracts lint like nothing I have ever seen. Not just a little but like I was rolling in the lint trap in my dryer. I was going to keep it a no one sees me in my nighties, but can’t stand it anymore. I am tossing it and will replace it with a different one.
