More about the Long Sleeve T-Shirt

The Cool-jams NightCool Long Sleeve T-Shirt covers the arms without the heat that usually follows, which is the whole point when you run hot at night but the room is cold. The Kottinu knit is temperature-regulating: it wicks sweat off the skin, dries in minutes and keeps air moving through the sleeve. An odor-control finish helps the fabric stay fresher between washes. It is a lightweight knit cut relaxed through the body, so it layers under a robe or over a tank without bulk. In Black, Navy and Merlot, in sizes S to 3X.

Why wear long sleeves if I sleep hot?

Rooms and bodies do not always agree. A long sleeve in a fast-drying knit gives you coverage when the room is cold and keeps working if you warm up during the night.

Is this a top or a nightshirt?

It is a t-shirt style top, cut to be worn with a separate bottom. If you want a one-piece knee-length shirt, see the NightCool nightshirts.

What is Kottinu?

Kottinu, a technical synthetic (engineered polyester microfiber) made for firefighter base layers and medical scrubs, now crafted for hot sleepers and night sweats needing moisture-wicking and cooling pajamas. Soft and smooth with a cotton-like feel, it pulls sweat off your skin, dries in minutes, carrying body heat away with it.

A Bact-Out finish helps the fabric resist odor, so it stays fresher between washes. Kottinu resists pilling, holds its shape, and machine washes easily.

How to care for Kottinu

Machine wash cold or warm with like colors, gentle cycle
Skip fabric softener and dryer sheets, they coat the microfibers and can reduce wicking
Tumble dry low or hang to dry, Kottinu dries fast
No bleach
Holds its shape and resists pilling wash after wash

Love the fabric. Wish you'd ditch the drawstring at the waist.
Drawstring at waist is much too bulky. Please make the bottoms with the option of requesting with an elastic waist, like some I have that were purchased a long time ago. The drawstring is simply too bulky.

The best pajamas!
I will never sleep in anything but Cool Jams again (and haven’t for at least four years now). I sleep hot, even in the winter, and these keep me feeling cuddled and cool at the same time. The best!
