More about the Capri Pajama Pants

The Cool-jams NightCool Capri Pants are cropped cooling pajama pants made for night sweats and hot flashes. The mid-calf length leaves the lower leg free, which is where a lot of heat escapes, while still covering more than shorts. You choose the waist when you order, elastic or drawstring, so the fit suits you rather than the pattern. The moisture wicking Kottinu fabric pulls sweat off the skin and dries in minutes, and an odor-control finish helps the fabric stay fresher between washes. Five colors, in sizes S to 3X.

Can I choose the waistband?

Yes. This style is sold with a choice of elastic or drawstring waist, selected when you order.

Why capris instead of full-length pajama pants?

Leaving the lower leg uncovered vents heat, so capris suit people who want more than shorts but find full-length pants too warm.

Can I mix these with other Cool-jams tops?

Yes. The NightCool bottoms and tops are sold separately and made to be mixed, so you can size each piece independently.

What is Kottinu?

Kottinu, a technical synthetic (engineered polyester microfiber) made for firefighter base layers and medical scrubs, now crafted for hot sleepers and night sweats needing moisture-wicking and cooling pajamas. Soft and smooth with a cotton-like feel, it pulls sweat off your skin, dries in minutes, carrying body heat away with it.

A Bact-Out finish helps the fabric resist odor, so it stays fresher between washes. Kottinu resists pilling, holds its shape, and machine washes easily.

How to care for Kottinu

  • Machine wash cold or warm with like colors, gentle cycle
  • Skip fabric softener and dryer sheets, they coat the microfibers and can reduce wicking
  • Tumble dry low or hang to dry, Kottinu dries fast
  • No bleach
  • Holds its shape and resists pilling wash after wash

    These are not nearly as comfortable as the previous ones I bought from you. The fabric is much thicker and scratchy. I would not order again.
