What is the return policy for sleepwear?

Any returns must be received at our warehouse within 30 days from purchase date. Be sure to try your sleepwear on before washing or wearing to ensure the fit is right for you. We accept returns and exchanges on any unused/unwashed sleepwear products only. Items should be returned in the condition they were shipped; unworn, undamaged, fragrance-free and with original tags attached.  Quality control reserves the right to charge a cleaning fee of 25% of product cost for any worn or damaged items so that we can sanitize/repair and donate to charity. What can I do if I notice a material defect on any bedding or sleepwear product?

It is rare that we find defects in our products, but if you notice a defect within 30 days of purchase, please contact our customer service team immediately at info@cool-jams.com to discuss return options. We will ask you to send photos of the defect via email to better assist our team.

We accept returns on unused/unwashed sleepwear within 30 days from purchase date.   Once a return is requested, our team will review the request and provide instructions.

Can I get a refund on my sleepwear return?

Absolutely!  Simply request a refund when you open up a return request. We will provide a prepaid label for your convenience.  Once the return is received and processed at our warehouse, we will process a refund to your original payment method for your product.  The label fee, $7.95, will be deducted from your refund amount. If you choose to exchange there is no charge for the return label.

Please note: Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. If a volume discount was applied on your original order, your discount may be disqualified if your return effects the required volume threshold.

I want to exchange for a different size or color.

Sure, no problem.  When you open your return request, note that you would like an exchange and indicate the size and color you would like. We will provide a complimentary prepaid label for your convenience.  We allow one complimentary exchange per order. If you wish to exchange an item a second time, you may contact customer service at info@cool-jams.com for 2nd exchange options.

Can I exchange for another style?

If you are not happy with the style you chose, you may request to return for store credit.  Visit Cool-jams Returns and open up your request.  Indicate that you would like store credit.  We will provide a prepaid label for your convenience.  Once the return is received and processed at our warehouse, we will provide store credit in the form of a code to be used at checkout for your new purchase.  The label fee, $7.95, will be waived when requesting store credit.

How long will it take for my return/exchange/store credit to be processed?

We want to complete your request as soon as possible, but please allow at least two weeks for the item to arrive back at our warehouse and for us to process your request. Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method but may take an additional two days to be posted to your account. 

Can I return/exchange an international order?

We do apologize, but at this time international orders cannot be processed via our Returns Tool. Should you need to return or exchange your item, please contact us at info@cool-jams.com and we will provide instructions for you.

Returns & Exchanges– Bedding

What is the return policy for bedding?

Any returns must be received at our warehouse within 30 days from purchase date.  We accept returns on unwashed/unused bedding products only. All authorized bedding returns may be subject to 15% restocking fees. Items should be returned in the condition they were shipped and still in their original package. Due to strict bedding hygiene regulations, we cannot take returns on any used or unpackaged bedding.

How do I start a bedding return?

Can I get a refund on my bedding return?

Can I get an exchange my bedding return?

We do not offer exchanges for bedding products. When you return an item, we will simply provide a refund for any unused/unwashed bedding returns.  If you require a different size or color, please place a new order online.

Ordering Online

Cool-jams is hosted on the Shopify e-commerce platform.

Shopify is certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant. As a result, the Cool-jams store is automatically PCI compliant, which ensures you have peace of mind when shopping from our store.  The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) was adopted by the Payment Card Industry Council in 2005 with the aim of protecting card holder data used during online payments. It is backed by American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB International, MasterCard Worldwide, and Visa.

We accept American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Paypal, Amazon Pay and Sezzle as forms of payment. It is our policy to not charge your card until we confirm that your order can ship. We do, however, obtain an authorization on your card at the time of your order for the full amount of your order. Please note that this may appear temporarily as a charge on your account statement, but it is an authorization only and usually will go away after 24-48 hours. We also obtain authorizations for the outstanding balance of your order if your order partially ships or the existing authorization is about to expire. Should the re-authorization not be successful, we will contact you for new payment information. If we are not able to obtain a valid authorization, we reserve the right to either cancel your order or charge your card for the outstanding balance of your order. 

Once your order is shipped you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link. You can use the link provided to check your order status at anytime. 

After placing an order you will get a confirmation email within a few minutes. If you place an order with us and don't get a confirmation email check your "junk" mail folder - it will probably be there. 

Our Cool-jams gift certificates are sent via email as soon as the order is confirmed and payment is processed. This is generally less than an hour after the order has been placed. Once you receive the gift card link, you can use it for yourself or add a personal message and forward to the gift recipient. To redeem the gift card, you must enter the gift certificate code into the box labeled "gift card or discount code" during check-out. Please note that gift certificates cannot be applied to shipping or taxes. They can be used for product only.

Shipping

Shipping charges depend on the weight of the package and your location. You will be able to view shipping charges before ordering by entering your shipping address, selecting the shipping method you prefer.

We rate shop to select the most economical method to your location. Shipping options include DHL, UPS, Fedex and USPS. Be sure that you enter an address that accepts USPS delivery if your package is shipped via USPS. We are not responsible for shipping delays that are a result of credit card/billing problems, weather conditions, product availability delays, or order changes made after the order has been placed. Cool-jams is not responsible for package theft, so you'll want to make sure someone is there to pick up your package when you receive the delivery notice.

International Shipments:
We are not responsible for any duties or fees imposed by the governments of any country outside the USA. Sometimes customs clearing can add a few extra days to the delivery time frame. Standard (6-14 business days)

Normally all in -stock orders are shipped within 24 hours after the order is received except orders placed Friday afternoon through Sunday will be shipped Monday am. Due to Covid 19 restrictions and unprecedented online volume we are not able to process our orders within the normal 24 hours, but rest assured we are doing our humanly best to process orders ASAP. We also may have possible shipping delays during busy holiday time periods.

All sleepwear is shipped from our St. Louis, MO warehouse. Bedding is shipped out of either our Utah or Washington warehouse. If bedding is a part of your order, you may receive 2-3 different tracking #'s. Cool-jams ships worldwide to 150 countries. Note international shipping info below.  

If your order qualifies for free shipping, you'll be able to select the "Free Ground Shipping US" option at check-out for free shipping within the contiguous USA. This offer is valid for any order over $100 (after any applicable discounts) and does not include Hawaii, Alaska US territories, Canada and overseas military bases outside the contiguous USA. Choose an alternate shipping option when shipping outside the contiguous US. You will be able to view all shipping charges during checkout by entering your shipping address and selecting the shipping method.  Shipping time for Free Economy is 5-10 days depending on specific location and weather conditions.  

Cool-jams Sleepwear has partnered with a trusted third party company GlobalShopex.com to fulfill orders for our international retail and wholesale customers. If you are a retail customer, simply add any items you wish to purchase into your shopping cart and choose the "International Checkout" option. The items will automatically be transferred to GlobalShopex for payment processing. You may pay with international credit cards, PayPal and bank wire transfers. GlobalShopex will process your payment and guarantee delivery.  You  also have the option to prepay duties and taxes imposed by your respective government. Shipping costs may vary considerably based on four factors:

• Order size & weight
• Destination Country
• Shipping preference 
• Duties and taxes collected by your government (if you choose to prepay)

Ground US/Free Economy: If your order is placed M-F by 12 pm PST, your order will usually leave our facility either the same business day or the next business day if received after 12 pm PST. Weekend orders are shipped the following Monday. Normal shipping time is 5-10 business days (depending on specific location and weather conditions). Ground shipments to Hawaii and Canada can take up to 14 business days. See international shipping for all other countries.

We are advising all customers to shop early to ensure timely holiday delivery. Please know that we will do our absolute best to ship as fast as humanly possible, but some delays will be out of our control.

US Orders: 

GROUND/FREE ECONOMY: Order by Dec. 16, 11:00 am PST

EXPEDITED: Order by Dec. 19, 11:00 am PST. 

EXPRESS SHIPPING, by Dec. 21, 11:00 am PST.

Canadian Orders:  Order by Dec. 12, 11:00 am PST

International Orders: Must select international check-out. Place order by Dec. 5 for best chance of delivery by Dec. 24. Once you select international check-out you will have the choice to pay more for expedited delivery and to prepay duties and taxes.

Cool-jams' award winning sleepwear is great for travel because its  lightweight, compact, wrinkle resistant and quick drying. In fact you won't find a more comfortable travel pajama anywhere. Once you try Cool-jams we know you won't leave home without them. 

All of our Cool-jams wicking pajamas and nightgowns are manufactured using our exclusive moisture wicking  polymicrofiber smart fabric with incredible wicking and quick-dry properties. The fiber content is 100% polymicrofiber with the exception of our midnight color which contains 35% rayon to give it the melange look.  The hand-feel and amount of stretch is like a super soft cotton t-shirt material. The poly microfiber yarn we use in our fabric has advanced evaporation and thermo-regulation properties, which helps to reduce the body's temperature to ensure a great night’s sleep. In fact, testing shows that our Cool-jams fabric wicks and dries 4 times faster than cotton or poly/cotton. We've also tested every leading wicking sleepwear brand and found that there is no other brand with a more effective moisture wicking fabric than Cool-jams. Unlike other wicking fabrics, the wicking ability of Cool-jams is scientifically woven into the fabric, so the wick never washes out. Regular cotton fabrics are relatively absorbent, but keep the moisture next to the skin because cotton dries slowly keeping you wet and uncomfortable. Polyester fabrics are not absorbent, thus keeping you hot and sticky. Cool-jams Sleepwear is made of 100% poly microfiber with superior wicking properties to absorb heat and moisture faster than cotton or polyester. Additionally, the fabric draws the moisture and heat away from the skin and then dries very quickly. In fact it dries 4 times faster than regular woven or knit cotton fabrics. Customers and experts alike tell us that Cool-jams are a great solution for women suffering from menopause hot flashes, for those living in warm climates, or for anyone just trying to stay cooler at night. *Note our midnight color has 35% rayon to achieve the variegated color effect.

The drying time for Cool-jams Sleepwear depends on several factors: room temperature, room humidity and the amount of moisture left in the fabric after washing. If you are hand washing, we recommend hand wringing first and then wringing inside a twisted towel for a faster drying time. Depending on all of the above factors, dry time can be 5 minutes (tumble dry) to 4 hours (hanging). Sorry that we cannot be more specific, but we can tell you that based on side-by-side testing, Cool-jams is the fastest drying microfiber sleepwear currently available in the marketplace. This quick drying feature is one of the many reasons so many customers purchase our sleepwear for travel and temperature regulation.

It is not a problem to put Cool-jams in the dryer as long as you do not use fabric softener or softener sheets which diminish the fabric's wicking ability. Also some customers in dry climates notice a bit of static when Cool-jams are placed in the dryer.  The dry time in an automatic dryer is 5 minutes or less.  

The softness comes from a very thin micro-fiber yarn with four times the filaments of other yarns. When we manufacture our fabric we use hundreds of strands of this unique, breathable yarn which gives Cool-jams its silky, soft, cotton like hand-feel.

Care for Wicking Sleepwear:
Wash in cool or warm water on gentle cycle. Never use fabric softener or fabric softener sheets because it will minimize the wicking properties of the fabric. If you accidentally use fabric softeners, re-wash the garment in clear water to remove softener residue, so the wicking properties will return to maximum effectiveness. Hang to dry or tumble dry on low (remove before completely dry). Tumble drying won't damage the garment, but can sometimes create static. Although Cool-jams has built-in odor protection, after repeated use, wicking fabrics can sometimes develop a bit of an odor. If this should happen to your Cool-jams, we recommend soaking in white vinegar, Oxy Clean or baking soda and water solution for 15 minutes before washing. We also have found a few detergents that are helpful for odor elimination without damaging the fabric's wicking ability. Some of our recommendations include: Kirkland Ultra Clean with patented odor release technology, Arm and Hammer Liquid detergent with Oxyclean and Tide Pods plus Febreze.

Note: To give your wicking clothing a wonderful scent without using fabric softener, you can add a few drops of essential oils like lavender to a wash cloth that you add to the low temperature dryer.
