You need to identify things to improve your health in order to live a longer life.” The first step is to get a physical, have your blood pressure and weight checked, look into family history for risk of heart disease, diabetes and cancer, moderate their drinking, quit smoking and do a minimum of five hours a week of exercise in order to maintain your current weight. Seventy to 80 per cent of women in menopause have hot flashes that can affect their quality of life. There are mood issues and vagina atrophy or dryness.

Menopause is a silent epidemic. Most women don’t complain about this and treat it like a big secret. Maybe they feel too ashamed or embarrassed to talk about it.
